Lowville High School will host Westhill in a varsity football game at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2026. The matchup will bring the visiting team from the Syracuse area to the Lewis County village as Lowville continues a season led by both its rushing and passing attacks.
Lowville is 5-1 overall and 3-0 in league play, and was ranked seventh in Section 3 in an Oct. 1 update. The Red Raiders' offense has relied heavily on its ground game, while quarterback Toran Zehr leads a productive passing attack.
Lowville finished last season 11-1 and won the Section 3 Class D championship, the program's first sectional title since 2019. The team later reached the state playoffs, where it lost to No. 1 Tioga. It was Lowville's first state appearance in six years.
Coach Josh Coffman leads the Lowville program. The game is scheduled to be played at Lowville, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Eastern time Friday.
