A 58-year-old Pierrepont woman died early Monday after the car she was driving left County Route 58 in Potsdam and struck a tree, the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded at about 3:22 a.m. to a reported personal-injury crash on County Route 58 between South Canton Road and Sweeney Road. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
